I started with an assortment of Club Scrap papers from POPs packs, and chose from my blacks, grays, whites, cream, and few taupe shades. The larger size is 4x6 and I used a corner rounder on the bottom corners. The smaller size is 3x5.
This is the Tonic Punch system that I used to put the holes in the 4x6 mats where I wanted to string them on the ribbon. In the finished picture you don't see the holes because I covered them with the 3x5 after I strung the ribbon through.
Here is a side view of one of the panels. The layering order is from top to bottom:
- Colored letter from Country Carnival cut on the Imagine
- Foam dots
- Letter shadow from Country Carnival cut on the E2 from Club Scrap basics in Black
- Foam dots
- Image layer from JT cut on the Imagine
- Foam dots
- Image base from JT cut on the Imagine
- Club Scrap Bookbinding Padding and Laminating Adhesive (AKA: acid free glue to use on just about anything!)
- 3x5 mat with inked edges
- Foam Dots
- 4x6 mat with corners rounded and inked edges
What a fun project :) I'll bet it was a fun party
